Review 2007

The imageloop team wants to say “Thank You!” to all people, who supported us on our track. Especially we want to thank our users using our widgets!

In 2007 imageloop heavily scaled up.
The number of daily created widgets has increased by more than factor six.
Currently we record more than 15 million widget plays per month.
Our systems manage nearly 6 million images in more than 0.5 million widgets.

Additionally, during the last year we have added some new widgets and features - the guest book, the ability to create widgets from Powerpoint presentation, the officeloop, the myspace friendshow, the labloop and last but not least the API.

Of course, imageloop lost something - the third ‘o’ in the name ;-)
The old domain names imagelooop.co.uk and imagelooop.de have been replaced with imageloop.com during the relaunch of the website.

To manage the current and future amount of data imageloop has also expanded on technical level.
In March 2007 we changed to a “distributed architecture” and start running an Oracle cluster database.
In the summer we put a storage solution from EMC² into operation.

For 2008 we will continue to add new features and more widgets the meet the needs of our users.
