An FBI counter terrorism team operating in Afghanistan is ambushed. One survivor, a veteran agent named Casey Jennings, endures a brutal run for survival from the Taliban. Before reaching safety, she makes a shocking discovery, the magnitude of which is not immediately apparent.
Unusual circumstances bring Casey together with a retired KGB officer into an awkward alliance as they struggle to stop another rogue KGB agent from activating an old Soviet plot. Casey is initially reluctant to work with the retired agent, but when he reveals a personal motivation for stopping his former colleague, they develop a common bond.
Eves of Destruction takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride of action and suspense in Afghanistan, Rome and London and finally to San Francisco where the retired KGB agent, the FBI and the police work desperately to prevent a massive terrorist attack on an American institution.

The book started off pretty well, and of the 33% that I finished, it kept my attention for the most part. However, the overwhelming number of spelling and punctuation errors finally got to be too much for me. I don't really know where the problem lies with a lot of these ebooks. I'm guessing that perhaps they lack professional proofreaders/editors, but wouldn't spell check eliminate a lot of these issues?Product details

Eves of Destruction edition by Roy Berelowitz Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Very interesting story about the continued political differences between the Russian and US governments. One issue that I didn't like was the number of typos and missing words in the book. Very strange. Will read other titles by this author.
Also shows some true to life opportunities for better American-Russian relations,. Educational but thrilling to read as well. Highly recommended.
Roller Coaster ride ! Strong characters in the story. However, one must get by a major premise of the plot that is a bit far-fetched. But accept it and enjoy the ride. It starts out slow, seems like several disconnected scenarios, then suddenly it falls into place. Becomes very intense toward to end. Hard to put down.
Really enjoyed this book. Definitely it started out a bit hard to follow but each part came together and it became impossible to put down. Very interesting plot and quite unique. Great read!!!!
Well written and attention holding until the end. Looking for the sequel. Good character development and believable plot intertwining FBI, MI5 and FSB agencies.
I read a lot of free books but usually finish 1 in a hundred. This tale I was sucked
into and finished!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story came together well. Thought the build up to the underlying story was quite well constructed . Look forward to reading another of this author's books. The only thing with books, and this one is no different, are the number of grammatical and spelling mistakes that seem to occur in the translation to electronic means eg "line of site" instead of "line of sight". Just my whinge!
The book started off pretty well, and of the 33% that I finished, it kept my attention for the most part.
