I could not put this book down. It is very compelling and full of suspense that I just had to keep going to know what happens next in the story. I loved the complexity of the plot, with all the twists and turns, and of the characters. This book is one intense, suspenseful, hot and sexy read.
Like Clarissa Wild's other books, I admire how she had created and built up this story to the end. If you are into Dark Romance, this is a must read!
I don't even know where to begin in this review. If u enjoy dark twisted sex/abuse or intrigued by that kind of crazy then this is the book for you. Warning if these words twisted, dark, abuse, sex, bat shiit crazy don't appeal to you don't read this book. I would definitely recommend this book to those of you willing to look/handle outside of the box situations to get to the end, cause let me tell you the end is frickin crazy, but spectacular. I only gave 4stars because it was really fricken twisted and I don't know how I feel about it.
This was not for me. Yes, warnings of graphic content were present I'm pretty sure on more than one occasion but still just wow.
Graphic and brutal just for the sake/hell of it. It's like it was written to shock the reader.
Storyline was shaky (not to mention completely creepy) to begin with. Not one character possessed redeemable qualities, hell not one was likeable at all.
Editing and formatting were fine and obviously there is a fan base for this type, obviously not me, so they'll 'enjoy' the read.
Wicked Bride Games kept me up most of the night though I am not sure if it was because of the twists and turns along the way or the characters themselves. The story was different than what I normally see and has definitely kept Clarissa Wild as one of my favorite authors. I don't know what I expected when I began to read this, but it wasn't what I got. In truth it was so much better. If you like dark and twisted stories with love and murder mixed in along the way this is something you have to read.

I have no idea where to begin...I guess I should start by saying I was warned! The story that I read and what I had in mind from the book description were pretty different. This author has quite the imagination and she puts it to work in this story. I am not a stranger to violence in books or erotica for that matter; I think what disturbed me in this story is the mind set. Naomi is a strong-willed woman and I would say that she doesn't have a submissive bone in her figurative body. However, she is determined to win the 50 million dollars so she does things that go against her dominance. She goes beyond the scope of a moral compass when push comes to shove and I feel like the character in the beginning of the story is not the character you end with. She changes in that house, or perhaps that's who she was the entire time and the atmosphere of the house awakened her. I couldn't put down my ipad until i finished the story and thankfully there isn't a cliffhanger. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a dark story and can keep an open mind.
This was an interesting read that's for sure. Nine girls are chosen by 3 men -- who are brother's. The women must compete against each other for $50 million dollars, provided by the men. The women must do whatever the men ask them to do, or forfeit and lose the right to the $50 million. Could you do this for three weeks? The ladies have been turned into concubine's.
The main female in the group we learn the most about is Naomi, who has a struggling family who needs the money for her father's cancer treatment medication.
There are 9 total females all fighting to have a chance to win over one of the brother's. Naomi figure's out the game, what they are all there for.
Anthony, Max & Devon are the brother's. Trying to find a bride for themselves. Anthony is the worst of them all I think. Max is kind, and actually pretty nice compared to his brother's.
This is a very dark romance book. Think Meryl Streep in Fatal Attraction
Very good book, but, the drama, twists and turns are crazy!
What an awesome read! One girl desperate to win it all. Even willing to kill for it. Naomi goes into the games with eyes wide open. Max only has eyes for Naomi & gives her a leg up when it comes to the mini challenges. You know Naomi & Max will end up together. The journey to top is wickedly delicious. Spicy sex scenes, unexpected twists, and unfortunate deaths. The depth of the depravity is astounding- in a good way. Highly recommend!!
