imageloop: Europe´s Biggest Slideshow Service Expands Operations

The Web 2.0 start up company imageloop lays down the basis for stronger growth as well as further international operations: From now on the slideshow service will be found under the domain www.imageloop.com. The new Website offers a completely refreshed design, a better ease-of-use in the process of creating slideshows as well as many new features.

Thus, imageloop makes it surprisingly easy to integrate moving pictures into Social Networks such as MySpace. The photo hosting service is brand new: users can upload their pics without any limit and reach them via the so-called permalink.

The imageloop service does not require the user´s registration and is available at no costs at all.

The most important changes are the following:
• imageloop is the new name which comes with one „o“ less than the previous name „imagelooop“
• completely new Website, now accessible on www.imageloop.com
• stronger focus on Social Networks
• after German and English also Spanish, French and Italian language versions are available
• Photo Hosting as new service
• new Auto-Embed functionality for an easy integration into community profiles or blogs, e.g. for portals such as typepad, blogger.com, Knuddels and netvibes
• various new effects for slideshows.

„With more than 10 million played slideshows per month imageloop is the market leader in Europe for this type of online service. Our goal is to become the number one European platform for photo Hosting“, as Stefan Riehl, the COO of imageloop, comments. „There is no easier way to create and embed slideshows in the Web – not even with competitors such as the US services Slide, Rockyou or Photobucket.“

beepworld Slideshows via Auto-Embed

imageloop slideshows can be integrated via auto-embed in the beepworld community.

The portal which offers its cutomers the creation of blogs and homepages for free counts meanwhile up to more than 3 million users. This is at least what we can read on their website. The users can now easily embellish their web presences with imageloop slideshows that offer gorgeous styles and effects.

Auto-embed means: create a slideshow with just a few clicks and integrate it within seconds in beepworld.

We are looking forward to your results!

imageloop Uploader for Mass Uploading of Photos

Uploading of photos has been easy since the early days of imageloop, but now it becomes even easier - thanks to our brand-new tool: imageloop uploader.

It makes uploading to imageloop as easy as drag & drop. Just drop some photos or folders into the upload area, select the target slideshow (or create a new one on the fly) and click the upload button. That’s it…

You can even drag & drop folders with subfolders onto imageloop uploader, it will find all jpg photos within all subfolders and upload them as well.

Download imageloop uploader for Windows here.

neu.de Chooses imagelooop Slideshow Switcher as Gallery Tool

Today neu.de launched a new online photo gallery. It shows more than 2,000 photos taken during the Car Fair AMI in Leipzig.

It’s a very sophisticated gallery: just relax and watch the photos played in the slideshows. No need for clicking from one photo to the next.

Thanks to the selectbox navigation and the handy jump-nav-buttons, commonly known from standard CD players, even selecting between different slideshows becomes very easy.

This new gallery at www.neu.de is based on the free tool ‘imagelooop Slideshow Switcher’. This tool is part of a new visual presentation concept - it enables webmasters to easily setup a photo gallery within very limited pixel spaces (e.g. within only 500 x 400 pix). Either as permanent part of a website, as PopIn or as PopUp.

There are additional options available, making the imagelooop Slideshow Switcher even more user-friendly, e.g.:

  • Automatic appearing of the Switcher PopIn
  • Random selection of automatically running slideshow
  • Free configuration of the jump-nav-buttons
  • Switching off navigation elements
